What data may be processed

Depending on how you use the website, the following categories of data may be processed:

• technical web server log data such as IP address, access date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information;
• communication data if you contact us by email, such as name, email address, company, telephone number and the content of your message;
• content and technical metadata required to answer requests when you actively use Cleo;
• business-related information if a listing, premium placement or editorial cooperation is requested or managed.

Purposes and legal bases

Processing takes place in particular for the following purposes:

• operating, securing, debugging and protecting the website against misuse on the basis of our legitimate interests;
• replying to enquiries and handling business communication on the basis of pre-contractual steps or our legitimate interests;
• providing Cleo when you actively request it and handling the content submitted for that purpose;
• complying with legal retention and evidence obligations.

Where optional storage takes place on your device, for example local assistant history, this is limited to browser functionality used by you and can be removed by you at any time.

Sign in with Google

You can choose to sign in to your shared Moraira.info account with Google. Email sign-in remains available as an alternative. We load Google Identity Services only when you choose Google sign-in; your browser then connects to Google and sends technical connection data such as your IP address and browser information.

After you sign in, Google sends us a digitally signed sign-in credential (ID token). It contains a unique Google account identifier, your email address, information about its verification and your name; it may also contain your profile picture URL. Our server verifies this credential. The credential is not stored permanently; we neither load nor store a Google profile picture. We store the account identifier, the associated email address and the times of linking and use. For a new account, your name is used as the initial profile name. We use the required sign-in data to create or recognise your Moraira.info account and sign you in to the website’s account features. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, contacts or other Google content.

For information about Google’s processing, see the Google Privacy Policy. You can delete your Moraira.info account using account deletion. This does not delete your Google account.

Your account and profile picture

Your Moraira.info account works across the website. Adding your own profile picture is optional. The image is resized and re-encoded; embedded camera and location metadata are removed. The original is not stored permanently. Your picture may appear with your name on public comments and publicly shared profile information. You can replace or remove it. This does not publish private account details or Cleo conversations, and a personal account does not grant rights to a business listing.

Cleo: conversations and memories

You can ask Cleo one question as a guest and continue after signing in for free. Voice conversations require sign-in; protection and usage limits may apply. Signed-in text conversations and the text of completed voice turns are linked to your account. Cleo uses a limited selection of earlier messages, conversation summaries and saved memories to recognise you. It does not send your entire history with every question. You can view and delete conversations and view, correct, remove or switch off the use of memories. Memories may be derived from preferences you share; check them for accuracy.

Temporary conversations and your data

A temporary conversation does not use earlier conversations or saved memories and does not appear in your saved account history. Its content is held temporarily in working memory for the ongoing conversation. Technical usage data may still be processed. Deleting or correcting a memory also excludes the affected old information from future AI context; visible messages in remaining conversations are not automatically rewritten. You can delete a conversation separately. Your data export includes saved Cleo conversations, memories and your profile picture.

Deleting your account also removes your profile picture, saved Cleo conversations, summaries and memories. You can delete conversations or memories individually without deleting your account. Switching memory off does not delete saved history; use the relevant delete function for that.

AI processing and storage

To provide answers and memories, OpenAI receives your question and the selected private conversation context, including profile name and language. For voice conversations, OpenAI also processes audio; Moraira.info does not store audio recordings of these account conversations. Saved conversations, summaries and memories remain at Moraira.info until you delete them or your account. Guest conversations are removed during cleanup after 24 hours unless you have transferred them to your account after signing in. A technically necessary guest identifier and usage counter may remain for up to one year. New private account conversations are not copied into the separate legacy quality logs. Earlier quality logs are not imported into your account history and are not automatically deleted when you delete a new conversation. For processing questions, contact office@moraira.info.

Recipients

Personal data is shared only where necessary for technical operation, communication or legal compliance. This may include hosting providers, email providers and technical processors acting on our instructions. Personal data is not sold.

Transfers outside the EEA

Transfers outside the European Economic Area are not intended unless technically required by service providers. In that case, processing will take place only subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.

Retention period

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose or as required by law. Server logs are generally retained only for a short security- and operations-related period. Communication data is stored for as long as necessary to handle the matter and meet legal obligations. Browser-side storage such as local assistant history remains on your device until you delete or overwrite it.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you generally have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, request data portability and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain, this is generally the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Whether data must be provided

You can generally browse the website without actively submitting personal data. However, if you contact us or use Cleo, the relevant details are needed in order to handle your request.

No legally significant automated decisions

No solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are taken within the meaning of applicable data protection law.

Web analytics with Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HEDHH3GXF0) to evaluate page views, technical usage data and selected interactions. This may include pages visited, approximate regional location, device and browser type, referrer and actions such as clicks on contact, map or business links.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Processing by Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent. Google Analytics is not loaded without consent. Advertising and personalisation signals are disabled. You can withdraw consent for future processing at any time through the cookie settings.
